Who can join?
The Deaf disc golf community. Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and CODA players are fast-tracked. Hearing players are welcome and share a short note about their connection to the community.
What are the two exchanges?
🎅 Secret Santa is the classic: one brand-new disc, tee, or accessory from your match's wish list, in the $20 to $30 range. ♻️ Shelf Grinch, Rehomed is the second-chance exchange: you send three to four or more gently-used discs, and your Grinch sends you rehomed discs of their choice — any brand, mold/model, or make.
How do I sign up for one — or both?
Registration runs Nov 1 through Nov 23. In the form, step 3 asks which exchanges you want — Secret Santa, Shelf Grinch, or both — and everything else (your details, address, shirt size) is collected once for whichever you pick. Step 4 is just for Santa joiners: list your top disc preferences there. Shelf Grinch needs no wish list, since the discs you receive are your Grinch's choice.
What do I send for Shelf Grinch?
Fair play is the whole point — send three to four or more gently-used discs, not beaten in. A disc you've thrown a few times, one that sat on the shelf, or a freebie you never threw is exactly right.
Can I register my family?
Yes. One email can hold several registrants — kids and pets included — each with their own match and dashboard card.
When do I find out my match?
Matches are drawn at random in a separate pool for each exchange, the team reviews every pairing, then everything unlocks in your dashboard on Nov 26. Joined both? You'll see a Secret Santa match and a Shelf Grinch match.
Can I watch my gift travel?
Yes — when your giver adds a tracking number, a live map lights up in your dashboard showing your disc on its way, city to city.
